Knock Sensors

Anyone have any opinions/experience with this or something similar?

Opinion? Shouldn't you be able to tell a knock if you had one?

nearly all new OEM autos have them now.

That would be cool.  I have seen these back in the day.  But not as sophisticated as this one. 

If I believe I cannot do something it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe that I can, then I acquire the ability to do it , even if I didn't have it at the beginning.

Suprised late model street bikes dont have some sort of knock sensor.  Must be the only one missing.  I guess you can never be too careful, or have too much buggy bling electronic stuff. ;D

Actually the OEM ones are very sophisticated. Tuned to very specific frequencies. I was kind of surprised to see this one as a "generic" unit. FROM MY PAST INFO i UNDERSTOOD THAT "ADD ON"  knock sensors were unreliable.
