I agree on the silicone.Plenty flexible but little tear resistance.

My car had a five link at first with the upper link at the front, not centered. I have a heavy car. I bent the bolt on the upper mount in testing and went to a Six link. I all so like to throw it into corners. If you do a five link I would make sure you have double shear and do at least a 5/8 joint or larger. Just my 2sents.

Suspension unlimited cars used to bend the top links under heavy braking and or locking the turning brakes while on the gas.
