Im looking for a set of front hubs for my car. I have linkpin style spindles and dot want to fork out $300 for an aluminium set. I was thinking about turning the drum off a set of front drums. Anybody have anything around or know of a good source. Im running wide 5 wheels.

Ive seen the drums turned off more than once...

That is what I used for my rear hubs on my streetbike powered car.
-
so you need front drums then?
-
Yes or a set of front hubs from somebodys front disk brake kit they are no longer using.
-
All them tools and shit you have, why not just make some?
-
I would rather have some nice aluminium ones but I think I am going to be machining a set of drums down.
-
If you can machine a set of drums, cant you machine some aluminum? ;D
-
Not that talented. I have limited access to machining tools and am not that good at using them. I can do small stuff like turn off the drum. I wish I were more talented.
-
You never will be more talented till you jump in and do whatever it is you think you can't do.How do you think guys like me got to where we can do what we do????
-
Right on fabr!
-
Fabr was alittle harsh
But he is right, you never know what you can acomplish if you don't try.
-
That wasn't harsh-it was tough love! dd:

You know where I keep my touph love :r

I have several 4 on 4 aluminum hubs and brake disks that fit them. They are Formula Cross hubs. I am changing the pattern to 5 on 4.5 so I won't be using them.

Thats the same place I bought axles from. Has a pair of 930 for under $100.

That sounds like a good price too, The billet stock for my hubs was 175 , but that was enouph to make 2 pair
