I have a customer whose son builds these things in Springfield,Mo. 350K-a million bux a pop. He made a fortune owning about 40 Sonic Drive-ins,sold out a few years ago and builds these things for fun now. I'm betting the profit on them is a lot of fun as well. :m

They have Overland West here in northern AZ.  Outfit is based in Prescott I think.  Stupid money rolls in.  Like the SSSS.

have ate at sonic in lincoln twice in my life.....gave it two chances but it was nasty so have never gone back. seriously it made mc donalds taste good. so good for him lol

Those are cool. The guy I'm talking about builds the bigger rigs for off road expeditions. 2 ton trucks and bigger. I'll try to find a link to him. Don't know if he has a website.

Well,  :nw someone likes them or there wouldn't be so many of them.   ;) As with any fast food joints it depends on local management/franchisee. Dogs turn their nose up at our local MickyD yet they are busy all the time.
