Whose got the crappiest shop to work in
The building I call my shop has got to be one of the hackiest buildings I have ever seen, day before yesterday I was closing the 16' door and ended up wearing it..
Dumb ass's that built it used the wrong springs and they pulled the tracking off the door frame...I never thought about that till the door put my spine back to last years condition...Here was the fix since it's 20 below zero here and gonna stay that way for the next week...The effn door works better than it ever has for me since we bought this house 8 years ago...
I drilled 2 3/4'' holes thru the door frame since it was already all splintered and wouldedn't hold, any screws or lag bolts...2 chunks of threaded rod and pulled it back tight...Wonder when the other side will let go?

Spec the problem is that the rear spring anchor point is supposed to be the rear of the TRACK. No wonder it pulled away. Some "carpenters" should have the hammer taken away from them and hit on the head with it.

I like how you use the back of the door as chalk board, great idea.
Some people should not be allowed to buy building supplies and tools. :police:

I used to buy soapstones by the box, My floor was my drawing board...then I ran outta floor space, so I started designing on the walls
