Hey!!!! Dave. Good to see you stopping in!  This is Wes. You happen to have any pics you can put your hands on of our tangle at Little Sahara with Clark ,you and I?I only have a couple shots but IIRC you got several. Post them up if you can. BTW,ow you been? You thinking of coming down to the DTS gathering 4/29-5/4? Be good to see you again.

I'm a tube bender at Spirit Aerosystems in Wichita. (36 years) and I have had a buggy on/off since the late 70's. I know and run with a few of the guys on this site.
I have been off of the sand for a few years. Right now I'm in the prosess of rebuilding my rail after a new powder coat job. I have a new motor ready for it setting on a engine stand.
My car is an old Sand Sprite 6 that cut up and modifided with the help from a few friends. My wife does all of my welding on it. :) With a little more time and money I'll have it back out on the sand.
I have last weeks lotto numbers if that will help....

Glad you made the team SandWitch it's about time you came on here. 

And hope you can finish it  out  and make our spring get together.  I'll share my camp spot with you.

I might come down and beg a ride off of someone so I can see what I have been missing.
Now that deer season is over with I have been working on my car. I'm taking my time and trying to build it the best I can but I'm also *fofoing it up and trying to make it look good. I'm about finished with the front end. When I took it apart about every bolt was a little bent so I'm using shoulder bolts on all of the moving suspension locations. Thats been a slow process.


*Fofoing, The act of fofoing or to fofo. Polish and paint every nut and bolt on a dune buggy to make it look good when it broke down.

Long day in the shop but I got a lot done on my car. It's starting to look like a dune buggy again.
