Forever.You'd be amazed how cool the exhaust is on these things.I can put my hand not 6" from the collector and not be uncomfortable.At 180 it gets plenty of cooling airflow!

Alcohol, nitromethane, or gas? I figured it was gas, but I am probably wrong. I think that the exhaust temps on alky are lower??

Ya I got depressed walking the ditches looking for some peices of the tire that caused it...
I even got a chunk of the aluminum that was burned into the road as a memorial...
